I was reading Twisty's post about scabs, and it got me thinking. What do I do that is a little off from the norm? Not something you would think about as an average person?
Or, maybe I'm wrong? Do other people do the things I do, and I just haven't heard anyone talk about it? One of the things I've done since I can remember, is make pictures in my mind out of shapes. Think of cloud watching. Looking at the shapes a cloud is making in the sky and figuring out what they look like. I do that constantly.
I can remember sitting on the toilet in my parents' house when I was really little, feet not hitting the floor little. I would look at the spots in the mottled linoleum tiles and create pictures from the shapes. I actually was sad to leave certain tiles behind when we left that house.
I make pictures from patterned surfaces everywhere. Ceiling tiles are a prime target. Textured walls have good shapes, too.
Another surface I look at daily is the shower curtain (unless I'm just too tired). As the water splashes against the curtain, it creates shapes. I try to figure out the pictures being made and it tends to start my morning with a smile. I looked specifically today to see if there was anything interesting in the splashes. Here's what I saw:
What do you see when you look at the splashes? These are totally random. I don't plan how I put water on the curtain. It just happens when I'm bathing. Do you see any pictures in these patterns? I did. Click HERE to see what I saw.
So, does anyone else Cloud Watch Everywhere? If not, what do you do?
